GAS ENERGY Participações is the holding company for the companies that make up the GAS ENERGY Group. Founded in September 2008, the company was constituted from a structured growth process of the GAS ENERGY Assessoria Empresarial.

With its headquarters in Porto Alegre, and commanded by its partner-founders, Douglas Abreu and Marco Tavares, GAS ENERGY Participações concentrates the management of the companies in the group, which, congregate the expertise that complement each other along the production chain and expand their radius of operation to Latin America.

The GAS ENERGY Group has a Board of Directors formed by executives who are renowned in the petrochemical and energy markets. The Board of Directors is a department of support and guidance. This forum for planning and defining strategies has the objective of promoting an environment that is suited to better taking advantage of the synergies among the companies.

They are:

GAS ENERGY Assessorship (Assessoria Empresarial) – Since 2005 the company has been serving clients in the energy, petroleum, and natural gas sectors in Brazil by means of advisories, projects, and seminars.

GAS ENERGY Chemicals – Created in September 2008 in partnership with economist Carlos Alberto Lopes, the company operates in the petrochemical and chemical segments and throughout the production chain, and is focused on activities of competitive intelligence, with the aim of adding value for the companies that are its clients.

GAS ENERGY Latin America – Created in partnership with engineer Álvaro Rios, formerly the Hydrocarbons Minister in Bolivia and also ex-Executive Secretary of OLADE in the period of 2006/2007, the company has the focus of strengthening and expanding service for the energy industry and mainly the natural gas value chain in Latin American markets.

GAS ENERGY New Ventures – a company that is composed of 50% of GAS ENERGY Participações and 50% of investors, GAS ENERGY New Ventures is geared toward structuring, supporting, and obtaining technical know-how in forming new business deals in the petroleum, natural gas, energy, and bio-fuel industries.
