Gas Energy was created in 2005 from a partnership between two chemical engineers with relevant work experience in the markets for oil, natural gas and petrochemicals in order to offer corporate advisory services in the natural gas and energy sectors. The group has expanded rapidly to occupy the position of Brazil's largest consulting firm specializing in natural gas, primarily in Brazil and throughout Latin America, position which it occupies with great pride.

Expertise in natural gas, combined with the experience of its founding partners and its employees were the factors that have allowed the company's growth, with rapid expansion of the areas in which it operates and its portfolio of products, services, and costumers.

Grupo Gas Energy is able to perform business advisory services covering the whole production chain of natural gas and oil on through the chemical and petrochemical industries, reaching the segment of end use products of this chain, whether from the perspective of the energy chain or from the viewpoint of the chain of chemical products and derivatives.

In a short time in operation, the company built a corporate structure based on principles of professional management, which started with two professionals, Marco Abreu Tavares and Douglas. In 2010 it came to the creation of Gas Energy SA, a solid structure, which embraces all areas of services offered by its group of specialized consultants and support staff, with a well defined governance model.

There are more than 30 employees working in Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and Canada.

This structure could only be built by being based on values such as competence, quality and excellence of work done, the relationship of trust between employees and costumers, and the freedom and independence of opinion in all of the projects that have been carried out.
